Account Details

The Account Details screen is available to all customers; however only customers who hold a consumer principal and interest Mortgage Loan account where a loan redraw facility is available will be able to progress to the Account Details – Results screen. This screen provides information regarding the Mortgage Loan account, including the Online Redraw facility.

Loan Redraw – General Information

A loan redraw provides access to any repayments made to a principal and interest Mortgage Loan account that have been made in addition to those required as part of the normal scheduled minimum repayments.

The amount available for redraw or “Available Balance” is the advance position (i.e. total of all repayments made over and above the minimum repayments required as part of the normal scheduled repayments), less one scheduled minimum repayment amount and any redraw fee that may be applicable.

An example of this calculation follows:

    Total amount in advance   $8,500.00
  Loan redraw fee   $0.00
  One repayment amount   $255.50

In this example, the amount available for redraw will be calculated as follows:

    $8,500.00 – $0.00 – $255.50 = $8,244.50

Therefore the amount available to redraw, or the Available Balance, would be $8,244.50.

Online Redraw allows you to transfer funds via Bendigo e-banking from the Available Balance of an eligible Mortgage Loan account to any of the other accounts you have registered for Bendigo e-banking (excluding another Mortgage Loan account, a Term Deposit account or a Commercial Loan account). To complete an Online Redraw all signatories to the loan must be registered for Bendigo e-banking and the Online Redraw facility. For information regarding registering for the Online Redraw facility please refer to Activating Online Redraw.

Bendigo Bank may debit the Mortgage Loan account with a fee each time you complete an Online Redraw. For a full list of fees and charges please contact us on 1300 BENDIGO (1300 236 344), visit your local branch or refer to our Schedule of Fees, Charges and Transaction Account Rebates booklet.
